Traveling with an 8 month old isn't easy. But my daughter is doing pretty good for traveling 24 hours in an rv with 8 other people. She doesn't get the freedom she want because she'd rather be on the floor crawling then sitting on the couch with me. I'm hoping that when we get back her schedule won't be too off. I was blessed she got To meet her Great Grandpa and his family. That was very important to me. When she gets older she will understand it. As much as she may or may not remember it.
It wasn't one of the greatest times to travel to Texas and back since Christmas eve was when we headed back. Got stuck in traffic because of snow and slept through most of it but still kept us in the rv for that much longer. Although this trip is ending in the fact I don't get to spend Christmas Eve with my family this year. It ended up to be a good trip in all.

On our way to Texas!!!
So on our way to Texas for our Great Grandmothers funeral. Even though I didn't get to meet her she is still apart of our family and it's important to support family. I get to meet a ton of family I've never met on my husbands side. I'm pretty excited. My daughter as well will get to meet her great grandparents and great aunt and uncles as well. Even though this is not a great circumstance sometimes it's what brings family closer. Everything happens for a reason. I hope this trip turns out to be everything and more than what I think it will be.
Oh and we are traveling there in a rv with 9 people! Hehe should be fun!!

Who Your Real Friends are
Don't you ever wonder what people think of you? Maybe even what your so called friends think of you? It's scary to know and scary to find out. But don't you want people to think good about you and not bad. Remember that maybe you left a impact on them in a good way.
We are told to be honest but why is it so hard to be honest sometimes. Are we afraid of telling people how we really feel? Lies get no where. Honestly gets everywhere.
Think about it. What do you want your friends to think of you? If they had to describe one word about you what would it be? Beautiful, mean, liar, or anything. Wouldn't you want it to be something good. Think how you treat your friends. Do you spend more time lying to them then being honest? And remember you might be surprised what they say about you but real friends are honest.

God's Word VS. Facebook
On my status this morning I put "do we devote as much time to God as we do to Facebook?"
I Didn't get many responses. Probably because it hit people on how much time they spend on Facebook instead opening God's Word. It crazy how hard it is to open the bible and read even just a verse. But how easy it is to get your computer or phone and sign in to Facebook and start stalking people. We are all more interested in others people's lives then the life that saved us.
It really gets you to think. Trust me I failed at this too. But that's what got me to realize it. Almost every night before I go to bed I'll open Facebook up just one more time check out statuses and then go to bed. Why is it that I can't open my bible to check the last status God gave us.
Maybe a new resolution. :)

Coach or couch?
So a few days ago my cousin and I met my sister and mother at in n out for lunch. We enjoyed some yummy hamburgers. In which I order my own meal and wasn't about to share my fries! I made that very clear to them. :) as they tried to be healthy ordering one fry to share and protein style for their burgers. Haha. Maybe they will lose one less pound then I will but man that bun and fries was worth it. Hehe. Once we were done eating, we sat and talked and enjoyed each others fellowship. My mother and sister were shopping at the outlets before they came and told us about all the deals they found. They begin telling us that Coach had up to 80% off their purses. Mom really liked one but the color would get dirty to fast. My sister really liked one but wasn't sure if it was too big. So as they both contemplated about what they wanted in the end , my mom got a completely different purse that was black ( like all her other purses) and my sister got the big one! Well....let me just say i'm not one to spend over 20 dollars on a purse let alone over 100! I asked both of them how much their purses were with the discount and they still were OVER $100!!!! I couldn't believe it! That's outrageous!! You know how many other things you could buy with $100?! I sat their debating with both of them about their purchases on a purse! Really getting down to the Nitty gritty.
I bet their purses will only last a year and start to fall apart. So it's either pay for the brand and walk into a room and maybe everyone will notice. Or if like my mom get a black COACH purse and no one will even notice that she has an expensive bag on her shoulder. As we laughed and debated over and over. They kept thinking I was jealous. Ladies, I'm not jealous I don't have name brand Coach purse hanging from my shoulders. I'd rather have a Off brand named COUCH purse on my shoulder and have $70 extra bucks to spend on things to fill it with. :) plus half the time our purses get filled with trash. Long story short my sister ended up returning her purse and getting a smaller one. And my mom High roller kept her black coach purse. Hehe and I do nOT have a Coach purse.

Braid in a Bun!
So this morning I got ready and wondered what to do with my hair. I then decided to do a fishtail braid. But once I did it I didn't want it. Hehe. So then I thought to myself "why not just put it in a bun?". So I wrapped the braid into a bun, fastening with a hair tie, and finishing with a clip in flower. Little did I know I'd have a fun and quick hairdo for the rest of the day. So whenever your mind wanders and thinks of something, go with it. You never know what you might come up with!!

New Day that I'll Always Remember
Although today was a new day it wasn't filled with the best news. I found out today that my Grandma-in-law passed away. It was a shock! Even though I had only known her for a couple of years, it felt as if she were my grandma my whole life. Since the first day I met her she always welcomed me into the family and made conversation. She had a way with telling stories but thats what made her Grandma. I was blessed that she was able to meet her Great Grand-daughter and spend time with her. We visited a few times, even had a picnic with her and some of her friends. I'll remember that trip forever. I'll remember how she just picked up her Grand-Daughter for the very first time, talked away and cuddle with her as if she were her own. So as this day comes to an end I want to say Grandma I will always remember you, your sweet giving spirit and even going to your house and showing us your garden or what you had grown. Love you and miss you forever.
